Emily is a Teen

It is hard to believe by my energetic, talkative (especially to adults), silly, tender hearted, cat loving, actor, learner, reader, friend, big sister, red head is a teenageer!

She cracked me up by asking for a blood testing kit for her birthday!  She was pretty excited to find out she is O+ like her Aunt Val.

We opened presents early on her birthday before Greg got on an airplane.  Then after church she made and decorated her own cake (she wanted to do it herself).

It turned out fabulous and she was super proud of herself.  Happy Birthday amazing girl!

Kate- Sweet 16

Kate's birthday fell on Easter this year so we opened presents early in the morning then headed to Val's after church for Easter dinner all together.  Kate loved her donut bday card from grandma and all the new clothes I bought her. I think everyone else gave her dance stuff- shocker.

She requested her epic cheesecake again this year.  Making something once a year means I always forget what works and what doesn't - like seriously that caramel is too runny.  Can I please remember that for next year?!  But the cake still tasted amazing.

I can't believe she is 16!  Happy birthday to my lovely, hard working, diligent, planner, dancer, nurturer, observer,  nail stylist, Swifty, tender hearted Katers!
