Girls Camp

Lily and Emily headed up to Cascade for Girls camp.  They had a great time with hikes, skits, Frozen play at Starlight, kayaking by North Beach, secret sisters, hidden cat figurines, poke art and yummy food.
This was Emily's pre-camp tie dye creation - she later added a tail and a bit of a face so it looked like a cat.
They got to stay in yurts instead of tents.
The view was gorgeous but so marshy you couldn't get any where near the shore.

Kitty poke art.
The bearded lady in the skit.
Starlight after the play.
North Beach!  Emily was so excited to kayak in one of her favorite places.  She even managed to spot a mama and baby moose for nearly the whole group to see.

Greg and I came up on Thursday and joined them on a great hike and then the play at Starlight.  We managed to get a little sunburned but we had a great time.

May: Concerts, Asia Trip, Blake visit

The girls impressed us all with their spring voice recital.  Lily even looked like Belle when she sang her song from Beauty and the Beast.  And Emily lit up and put on a show while she sang her song about a girl wishing for a boy.
Lily also had her end of year band concert and got introduced as "Lily on the keys" for the jazz band.

Grandpa invited Andrew to go to Cambodia and Vietnam with him.  I told Andrew that part of his job was keeping Grandpa safe.  But grandpa ran the show, keeping Andrew busy and learning a lot.

Mack and Sophia stoped by out place on their way to and from California.  We soaked up our time with Blake.

And these two are from Mack once they got home.  Can't get enough of her.

Sophia's Graduation and Blake's 1/2 bday

We stayed in Lewiston Friday night so we could get to Sophia's graduation on time on Saturday.  We went out to lunch together then headed to the graduation.  The kids jumped right in to taking turns with holding Blake.

Once the graduates came out it started getting loud and Blake wasn't very happy about it.  Mack let me take her, so she and I took a nice cold walk.  Eventually, I got too cold so I pushed her around the library until she fell asleep.
When she woke up I met up with Mack to get Blake home and fed.
After everyone got back together we celebrated Blake's 1/2 birthday.  Sophia went all out.  The decorations, cookies, and cake looked so cute.

We sure love that girl!  The next morning we stopped by on our way home to give a few more snuggles to that sweetie.

Andrew's Birthday

Keeping with tradition I got Andrew's Dairy Queen birthday cake at 20% because it was two days after Mother's Day.  Lucky boy😂.  The first time this happened it was the only cake with the original flavor combo he wanted- this time it just meant he got a bigger cake because it cost less; happy boy.
He wanted to put all 21 candles right together which created quite a bonfire.
We actually celebrated his birthday on the 12th because he didn't get home from Cambodia around 1:00am the night before.  Most of his presents included clothes appropriate for work and kitchen stuff for next year - exciting stuff.  Mack and the girls got him some soccer and basketball cards so that was a lot more exciting.
