Grandpa Dame was turning 80 this year so we decided to try and get together to celebrate. Val wasn't able to make it but the rest of the siblings made our way to Arizona to celebrate dad. He wanted to go e-biking so we rented a bunch of e-bikes and followed the route dad had picked out. We stopped and met mom for lunch and then made our way home. We covered over 17 miles.
And yes, I wore my helmet crooked all day long🤦♀️. I sunscreen my neck and face but not my arms and I got a nice sunburn to show for my time in Arizona.
For grandpa's party he choose cherry pie (I had no idea he loved cherry pie). He enjoyed that while most of us indulged in French silk and banana cream.
We spent the weekend chatting, eating take out and just enjoying time together. On Saturday night we sat around Sharee's campfire and asked dad a bunch of questions and got him telling stories. It was a fun night.
Loved being with my family all weekend.
