Our first year at CADA was full of new experiences, both good and bad. Emily and Kate tried this movement class- Kate enjoyed it and learned a lot, but Emily hated it and won't be doing it again. Some of that might be due to their recital performance being unpolished because the teacher changed things too much and everyone was confused. I still argue it was good to try something new.
They enjoy their new ballet teacher Miss Naomi and are grateful to still be doing ballet. Their ballet 4/5 class was their favorite part of the week.
All three of the girls were in the ballet 2/3 class- the older girls just used that time to get in more time on pointe and dancing. Lily made a bunch of new friends and is loving dance at CADA.
They had professional pictures taken and it was hard to pick just one of each girl. They look incredible.
Grandma and Grandpa Dame got home from Arizona just in time to watch the girls dance. I could watch them all day (and I did 😉). Their new teacher choreographed some beautiful dances.
We are going to miss Kate at dance next year, but we are grateful that the girls were able to dance one more year together and with Kendall. Lots of good times eating lunch in the hallways and trying new dance types together.
