Summer Time Random Fun - June

Lily got a Roaring Springs pass again this summer and went three times in the month of June.
Emily decided to try perming her hair to even out the less curly areas.  It was quite a process - at least 3 hours.  She isn't sure it was worth it or if she will do it again but it will be fun for a while and interesting to see what it does as it wears out.
Lori got Annie and I to go on an early morning hike - thank goodness June has been a cool month because by 10:30am I was very sweaty. Love these ladies!  So grateful for their friendship.
We didn't even plan the matching blue tanks 😂.
Our view of Boise - such a beautiful day.

Last Days with Kate

The whole family came into town for Kate's farewell.  She soaked up her last moments with Blake, Sophia, Mack, Natali and Miguel.

Addy and Violet drove grandma Nani to Idaho and spent the evening hanging out with Kate, they had to drive home the next morning to get back to Cedar City for work the next day.  It was so sweet of them to come to say goodbye.
Grandma loved holding Blake and just watching all the people go and come on such a busy weekend.
Sunday morning Blake had an audience of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins watching her play.  She was all the entertainment we needed.
It was fun to have a baby at church again.  I loved listening to Mack sing and watching how much Blake loved all the music.  Kate did an amazing job on her talk - so thoughtful, amusing, and sincere.
My favorite part was hearing Natali, Andrew, Kate, Emily and Lily sing "Gethsemane" together.  It was simple so we could through it together fast and our practices were laugh inducing but when they sang I couldn't help but cry.  Love hearing my kids sing about Jesus together.

After church we came back to the house for dinner and goodbyes as Natali and Mack's families had to hit the road.

Kate's farewell was the same day as Luke's on my mom's birthday.  So we celebrated everyone together and put candles in Grandma's ice cream.
Sammie stayed the night with Zella and Dahlia who had come with Grandma Nani on Saturday.  The next day the girls watched tons of Barbie movies, baked and frosted cakes, and just hung out together.

A seal
Polka dots with all the frosting everyone else mixed up.

Bumble bee
Happy faces

The next day the kids met up with the Wilfords at Roaring Springs and had a lot of fun together.  It was Kate's last few hours before being set apart.

The next morning we dropped the girls and Nani off at the airport, leaving Nani in Zella's travel capable hands.  So glad they could come.

Dance Recital

The class pictures were free but the individual ones weren't so I didn't purchase them but just took a screen shot of them - they look sort of silly but still kind of cool.  They girls have had some good times at CADA but we are moving on in part because they are not offering our classes any more 😂.

Greg took some photos at the performance.

The performance was the day after Kate's farewell talk so Grandma Nani, Zella, and Dahlia were able to attend along with Grandma and Grandpa Dame and the Wilford girls.

Family Pictures

Emily and Lily got home from girls camp a couple hours before Mack and Sophia pulled into town and just a few hours later we headed to Heather's house fore family pictures (We may have arrived late because everyone was watching World Cup).
Greg took this pic while we were getting set up.
