Lily turned 6 and had a few friends over for a tea party/birthday/play date. They decorated their cupcakes to look like unicorns using the leftover fondant I'd made that morning for Lily's cake.

They brought her some presents and then spent most of their time opening and playing with her new LOL Doll. They had such a blast.
While the girls played I put Lily's birthday cake together. She picked out this fabulous unicorn design complete with homemade marshmallow fondant horn and ears, and three colors of cotton candy straight from Emmy's machine. Lily really enjoyed picking out all the candy as well.
She got a flip switch rainbow shirt from her friend Libby and immediately put it on. She even tried to wear it the next day too. She enjoyed bringing brownies with cookie dough frosting to the kids in her class and having the Wilfords over after school to celebrate her big day.
She got a donut and a puppy squishy, some new paints, another LOL doll, and two well loved stuffies. Her Minnie Mouse donut ears were on her head nearly all day as well - such a happy girl.
I love my little buddy. She does almost everything with me. I love watching her learn to read, listening to her sing her choir songs all over the house, and holding her hand as we run errands or walk around the neighborhood. My baby is growing up but I am loving every moment.
