Dame Reunion - McCall

We all gathered in McCall for a Dame reunion.  Renting 4 units plus #22 made for quite a party.  The kids did a lot of swimming, tubing, and just hanging out.
Our first morning Val, Sharee, Mark and I rented electric bikes and rode over 18 miles.  We went out past Little Payette Lake but the roads was so bumpy.  We had lots of fun and got plenty sweaty.

Thursday afternoon we went rafting and had such a blast.  Spencer kept us all on our toes by surprise grabbing members of other boats and tackling them into the water.
Our boat had Grandpa, Anna, Owen, Me, Lily, Emily and Rachel and for a little while, Emma, because we kidnaped her.
The rafting was a lot of fun.
Emmy and David paddle boarded out to the island with Sharee and Reed.

In the evening we gathered in Unit 41 for talent shows, skits, stories, singalongs and games.
This is the "Bad Baby Sitter" skit.

We had dessert each night in grandma's unit after our together time, and we enjoyed a few meals there together too.
One night after dinner Anna and Hattie taught us a bunch of games.  Some were just plain crazy but the kids had a lot of fun.
Friday morning we went for a hike up to a beautiful mountain lake.  It was hot and dusty but everyone made it, even grandma.
This is a picture of the hiking crew.

While the rest of us headed back the extreme team hiked up to the peak in this picture.
The way was arduous, and more like bushwack bouldering that hiking.
The view from the top was incredible.
Here is the crew: Paul, Neils, Anna, Hattie, Emily, David, Reed, Anson, Mark D. and Greg.
Emily's feet were absolutely filthy when she got home and they were all exhausted and grateful for the Ice Cream Alley stop.
Kate spent a lot of time with Winston and Emma mostly just for fun but also as babysitter when we went rafting and hiking.
Our last night we had Heather come up and take pictures for us.  It was a pain for poor Mel who had spent the whole week laying down because of a bulging disc.  Walking and standing for the pictures was excruciating.

Capturing some of the fun times...
