Kinder Graduation

My last kindergartener - now shes on to full day school!  So excited for Lily but sad to see this season of my life end.  I'm looking forward to more time to myself but will sincerely miss the slow lazy mornings reading books, playing games, and just hanging with littles.

Here she is racing up the inflatable for field day (everything had to get moved inside because of rain).
Luckily the 3rd graders got to do arts and crafts with the Kinders.  No complaining from these two.  I love how my Emmy is such a great big sister to Lily.  She waits for her, watches out for her, sits by her, stands up for her, plays with her, just loves her so much - it makes my mama heart so happy.
The day of graduation Lily decided to get all dressed up.  She even asked me to curl her hair.  That never happens so I enjoyed the chance to send her to school looking fabulous.

We were happy to have Grandma back from Arizona.
Big sister had to skip class to watch and steal the hat 😉.

The Greatest Dancers

For the spring ballet production they did The Greatest Dancers.  The show was sort of like a ballet circus.  It was fun and the girls loved it. Emily and Kate had some amazing dances and Lily was fun to watch as a clown.

Here she is with her buddy Brooke.

Some Firsts For Our Last Child

Natali got a hover board for her birthday and somehow the kids made a game of wearing the box.  Funny that almost all of them fit inside it.  Lily thought it was hilarious.
Yeah!  Lily finally got her confidence on her bike and rides like a pro now.
The Kindergarten does a rodeo every year.  Sadly, I missed Lily's because Greg and I were in Cambodia but Grandma took lots of pics for me.

Lily's class took a field trip to the Botanical Gardens and the zoo.  Here she is examining a rolly pollie.
They had to collect something green, something round, and something alive in their cup and look at them with their magnifying glass.
Class pic.
This was her little group at the zoo.

We had such a blast on the field trip.  My girl is growing up too fast.  Last Kindergartner 😢.

Andrew is 14

Andrew scored a nice fluffy blanket, Liverpool soccer ball and jersey, and new shoes.

He chose DQ ice cream cake again as well.  No one complained about that.

In March I got a call from the school nurse saying that Andrew had hurt his finger in PE and really wasn't doing well.  I drove in and the nurse said she thought he'd just jammed it but he was pretty worked up.  She gave him some Ibuprofen and I took him with me.  I was going to a PT appointment so I decided I see how he was doing after that.  On the drive I looked at his finger more and stated to think that angle didn't look so healthy.  By the end of my appointment we were pretty sure it was broken.  Off to quick care and this x-ray showed a nice diagonal break.

He had to wear this nice wrap for 3 or 4  weeks and tape it when playing sports for a few more weeks.  Poor kid -  He couldn't even play soccer for 3 weeks.  Poor kid.

This kid is full of energy and fun.  Glad he is a part of our gang.

Nine Year Old Nemmers

I can't believe my Nemmers is 9.  Her birthday was really close to Easter so she got to have her cake at the Wilford's house as a part of Easter dinner.  In light of that fact, she designed this Easter Birthday cake.  We filled the cake with Sixlets and then covered the hole with a nest made from chocolate dipped pretzels and filled the nest with mini eggs.  The Peeps were a nice touch as well.  The candy hidden in the middle was a hit with all the cousins.
She loved her stuffed sloth and her Ginny Weasley wand made by Scott Salisbury.

Our Emmy brings such joy and fun to our house.  I feel lucky to be her mom.  Right now she really loves her cat.  She carries Perdita around the house like a baby and pets her anytime she sees her.
Emmy had a blast playing soccer this year - especially trying her hand at goalie.
The day after her birthday she had a field trip to the Birds of Prey Center so I had to go along.  It was such fun to see her love for animals come out.
Love Love my Emily girl!

My Natali Is So OLD!

Natali turned 17 this year!  So hard to believe she will be a Senior next year.  She is such a joy.  She is a great big sister, helps me out a ton, and finds ways to lift and cheer everyone around her.  Not ready to send her to college yet, not cause she's not ready, but because we will miss her too much.

She competed at State Solo again and finished in 5th place; so proud of her.
Prom with Kyle was a lot of fun - she looked beautiful.  Last minute (literally) she decided her dress should be hemmed.  I seriously finished hemming it 5 minutes before she left the house.  Glad that worked out but next time we will talk through things a little sooner.  Love this girl!

Kate is 12!!!

Kate enjoyed her Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake for her birthday and we got her see her artwork displayed at school.

She also showed her orchestra skills at Art Night.
She had a blast at FX Dance camp.  Can you see her in the front row in the yellow shirt on the left side?
Love this girl who is growing up far too fast.  I can't believe she is 12 already.
