Miraculously, through the efforts of Greg and other men who love Andrew, he got his mission papers turned in in record time. He had to get his hair trimmed for this mission photo.
I left early the morning of May 9th to pick Mack up from Moscow. While driving I got the word that Andrew had his call. We were trying to figure out when we could open it and I still had to get Mack and drive the 5+ hours home. Well I showed up to get Mack and he was ready. We were loaded up and got in 30 minutes or less. We called Andrew and plans were set to open the call 9:30 that night.

All the boys filled the house and Andrew learned that he was going to Nicaragua, and further shocked us with a July MTC date. We were assuming August or September. It will be hard to be ready with all the travel we have planned but we are thrilled he is leaving so soon.
Unfortunately Andrew separated his shoulder playing basketball this spring. After it had started to heal he played ball again and separated it a second time 🤦🏻♀️. Lets home he can take it easy and let it heal before the mission.
The girls dance production was on Andrew's bday so he went out with the boys and we put off his party until Sunday. The Wilfords and Grandma and Grandpa Dame came over and we celebrated Mother's Day and Andrew's bday. Can you tell that he had just re-injured his shoulder?

Happy Birthday amazing, persistent, loving, friendly, passionate, verbose, argumentative, energetic, smart, easy going boy!
