After months of hard work the girls performed Peter Pan. Emily and Kate were fabulous pirates. Kate gave us lovely smiles and Emily held her head up with drama from beginning to end.
The whole production was beautiful. Probably the best so far.
Lily made a beautiful, deliberate mermaid - leading the rest of the mermaids in their core intense dance. They did boat pose and side planks - holding the pose for quite a while in a very slow, gorgeous dance sequence. She hated the wig but the audience loved the look.
Our pirates also spent one dance as Indians then did a quick change to end the show as pirates.
We had to get some silly pictures in their sunglasses before we headed home. The girls love to dance although they had a tearful goodbye to Clara who has been a fabulous mentor to them for the last several years.
Brooke, Val, Sammie, Rachel, Grandma and Grandpa Dame, the Dombroski's and Emily's young women's class all came to watch. Lucky girls.
