End of Year

Well spring brought more soccer - Lily had a lot of fun with her cute team.  The won some and lost some but by the end of the season they were really working well together.

Greg had to wear a top hat to a dinner at a convention - thank you Zurchers for this $1.75 beauty that even managed to make it through security.
Natali came home in April bringing with her lots of late night talks, music, temple trips, lunch dates, laughter, and long conversations with Fritz...
Lily needs Ditten snuggles/torture all year round.
Speaking of torture this event may have sounded like it.  Lily didn't want to brush her hair and neither did I.  It was time to make the cut.  She gave me a tentative okay and I put the scissors to quick work.  It was done before she could reconsider, and then the wailing began..."I wasn't ready!" "I have no hair!"
I cut 10" inches off and she really does have quite a bit of hair left.
After a solid 20 minute break down she finally let me even out the cut and by the end of 2 hours she was talking about how light her head felt and how easy it was to brush - she survived.
We discovered this duck nest too late this year - Ditten?  Those babies didn't get to full development.
End of year projects - Emily created an ecosystem project with a Yellowstone complete with a dead Elk as food for the wolves.
Extravaganza day for Emily - She loved the petting zoo.  Especially the snakes😳
I went to help for field day - coloring is pretty fun but I don't think I will ever by this kind of crayons - so messy.  It was everywhere- hands, faces, the floor, the tables-everywhere.

Goodbye to another school year and hello summer!
