About two weeks before the wedding Natali and I realized that the weekend of Mack's wedding was the best time to throw her a bridal shower. Greg's sisters (especially Gayle) jumped in and created a wonderful, last minute shower for Natali at their AirB&B.
We planned it for right after the wedding dinner figuring we would easily be done with dinner by 8. At 8 the dessert was just barely coming out and we still had a 35 minute drive back to Middleton. So I grabbed the girls and Nani and we snuck out a little early arriving only 10 minutes late.
Gayle had repurposed the wedding flowers and had little vases for everyone to make their own arrangement.
The cousins had so much fun being included, making their own strawberry shortcake combos and drinks, and creating a braid line.
My sisters jumped in to make all the pound cake and cut up all the strawberries. The aunts created an incredible fun night. It was short and sweet and Natali felt so loved by family and friends.
Claire and Robyn entertained everyone with their creative answers on the games we played. They even managed to win one of the prizes.
Miguel made an appearance to introduce himself and play a game with Natali. It was fun to see how well they knew and cared for each other.
Between the wedding bouquets, and the little vases put together at the bridal shower our house was filled with flowers until I had to throw them all out before our trip. They turned out so beautiful.
Lily went with Sammie back to Phoebe's AirB&B and spent the night while the rest of us went home exhausted.
The next morning we invited everyone over for breakfast, complete with cinnamon rolls made by Violet and Cecily.
We had a big crowd at church to listen to Andrew and had pulled pork sandwiches, watermelon, other sides and tons of dessert after church thanks to Robin MacLeod, Sherry Mills, and Aleisha McConkie. We enjoyed the last hours of family time before everyone headed home.
